There will be two performances (5:55 & 8:25) hosted at Austin's beautiful One World Theatre. No ticket is required to hear Acoustic Jungle, but you will need to purchase a ticket to hear Earl Klugh. (That's how it works when you have 23 top 10 records and 4 #1 selling albums Billboard's Jazz Album chart.) Earl Klugh is a major influence for Acoustic Jungle and we are always delighted to come back to One World Theatre.

January 10, 2011 Acoustic Jungle ended 2010 on a high note with the release of their new album Pirates & Gypsies, and their debut performance at Austin's beautiful One World Theatre as the opening band for Latin music icon Jose Feliciano. The band looks forward to an exciting 2011 and continues to cook up some tasty new material.

March 27, 2008 Acoustic Jungle will be performing the opening ceremonies reception of the NCAA Final 4 Tournament in San Antonio on April 3… hopefully playing for our Texas Longhorns!

October 17, 2007 The past few months have been a truly exciting time in Acoustic Jungle's five years of existence. The band has added two of Austin's finest musicians and has been performing at an impressive array of first-class venues, in addition to being hired to perform for a variety of special events.

A "bigger sound" is brought to the band by the many talents of Greg Williams. He is undoubtedly one of the best saxophone players you will hear anywhere, but his talents go beyond. He also plays flute, guitar, percussion, and just about any instrument you put in front of him. Just ask our new percussionist, Sevylla. He's quick to grab a shaker off of her percussion stand, as he simultaneously belts out amazing one handed sax leads without missing a note or a beat.

We are happy to have Sevylla del Mazo laying down some serious rhythms. Her Cuban heritage brings an authentic, yet creative style to Acoustic Jungle; while her beaming charisma and great stage presence are a treat for both the men and the ladies! What a deal… Sevylla is also active in youth education, as a Program Specialist, for 21st Century Community Learning Center, providing after-school enrichment.

Meanwhile, first-class gigs have become the norm. Acoustic Jungle has performed for the core donors of Austin's Long Center, at the residence of local philanthropists, Mort & Bobbi Topfer, at Shady Grove, for a private function for the prestigious law firm Vinson & Elkins, and a St. Edward's University Honors Graduate/Faculty dinner. Additionally, Acoustic Jungle has performed at Clear Channel Radio, The Four Seasons, numerous weddings, corporate events, and lately a series of major fundraising functions for the following charities: Make-A-Wish Foundation, March of Dimes, and Susan Koman-Race for the Cure.
